How listings are written

Each listing is based on the business's or organisation's own website and on official sources. Opening hours, prices and dates change, so check with them before you go.

What "In English" means

Shows places that say on their own website that they offer their service in English (staff, lessons or care in English) or that have information in English. Each listing says which.

• Service in English: the provider says its staff, lessons or care are in English (sometimes alongside other languages).
• English website: the provider has information in English, but doesn't say whether the service itself is in English.

For schools, the label is Taught in English when lessons are in English. An English website alone doesn't mean teaching is in English, so every school lists its teaching languages, and the "In English" filter only shows schools taught in English.

Where a listing doesn't mention English, the provider hasn't said. It's always worth asking.

How lists are ordered

Listings are grouped by type. There are no star ratings or reviews.
