Me and My Luxembourg

Old town walk, about 3 hours

Wenzel Circular Walk

What it offers

A short signed walk through the old fortress districts of Luxembourg City: the Bock, the Wenzel Wall and the Grund, part of the UNESCO World Heritage site since 1994.

Practical details

The official name is “Wenzel Circular Walk – 1000 years of history in 180 minutes”. Visit Luxembourg’s page has the map and a GPX file, and you can also book it as a guided tour.

The route goes up and down between the upper town and the valley, so wear comfortable shoes. If you’d rather skip a climb, the public lift at the Plateau du Saint-Esprit goes straight down to the Grund.
