What it offers
A family estate in Remerschen, next to the Haff Réimech nature reserve, and the first on the Luxembourg Moselle to farm organically. Tastings by arrangement.
Practical details
Founded in 1872 and run by the same family for five generations, the estate went organic in 2001, the first on the Luxembourg Moselle to do so (Visit Moselle). Remerschen sits by the Haff Réimech nature reserve and its lakes, so a tasting here goes well with a walk.
- Opening hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 to 12:00 and 13:30 to 17:00. Other times and weekends by appointment.
- Booking: +352 23 66 40 07, info@caves-sunnen.lu, or the form on their site. Cellar visits with a tasting for groups of up to 25. Prices on request.
- Open days: in spring (March) and autumn (November), open to everyone.
- Without a car: the stop Remerschen, Kiosk is about 150 m away, on line 432 to Remich bus station, where you can change for Luxembourg City.
